We’re halfway to a year already, I cannot believe the changes over the last six months. He grows so much everyday and amazes us with each new milestone.
Newborn:

Six Month Stats (as of 2.13.13):
Weight: 17lbs 10oz (50th percentile)
Height: 27.5 inches (81st percentile)
New Skills:
-Picking up toys and being able to pass them between his hands.
-Learning to sit up on his own. It is so funny to see him be able to bend at the waist, I remember when he was a newborn and that wasn’t even possible.
Big Events:
– First sledding adventure with mom and dad, though no hills yet. He just sat back and took in the sights while we had fun towing him along in the snow.
“A Day in my Life”- Saturday, February 9, 2013
7:30am: Awake in my crib, talking to myself. I love laying on my belly snuggled in my hand knitted blanket.
7:35am: Mom comes in to get me up, she sings to me…”Good Morning, Good Morning I love you Good Morning…”
7:40am: Fresh diaper- check. Dressed for the day- check. Bottle warmed- check.
7:45am: Enjoying a nice bottle with momma while checking up on the news for the day. Mom sips coffee, I chug milk.
8:00am: Relaxin’ with momma on the couch getting ready to play, but I like to slowly wake up.
8:30am: On the floor and playing with my toys. Between the piano, my multiple sets of keys, and the shaped blocks I have plenty to chew on…I mean play with.
9:30am: Getting a little crabby, so mom sings to me again and it makes me smile. She picks me up and pats my back. I fall soundly asleep on her shoulder.
10:30am: Time for another bottle on mom’s lap…yum!
11:00am: Time to G-Chat with Grandma Langton and Uncle Michael. Daddy is out of town for work, but we show everyone my new talents. Talking and sitting up all by myself.
11:30am: I get tired so I pass out in mom’s arms. Shortly after she moves me to my crib where I take a nice long nap so mom can get stuff done at the house.
2:00pm: Up from my nap, so I get another diaper and bottle. Oh what a life I have!
2:30pm: Playtime on the floor again while mom does her thing making more bottles for me…we talk while we do our stuff.
4:30pm: Tired again, so I nap on mom’s shoulder for a bit.
5:30pm: Mom and I play together…Superman anyone?
6:00pm: Mom moves the fun into the kitchen. I play on the floor with a wooden spoon and a pan while mom makes herself some dinner…this is kind of fun!
6:30pm: Dinner for all…
7:00pm: Off to the shower I go…mom gets me clean and into a nice fresh pair of jammies. After I get some playtime before sleep…
9:00pm: Time for my last bottle of the evening…
9:30pm: All snug in my crib settled in for a night of good sleep. Mom turns on my musical seahorse and after few minutes I’ve passed out.
9:45pm to 7:30am: Sleeping soundly, I don’t cry or wake mom since I know she could use the rest. Maybe tomorrow when dad gets home…
