Time is still on fast forward…I thought someone was going to hit pause?!?!
Now that we’re in the middle of the holiday season- I’m sure it’s going to fly by even quicker. So we’ll just hold on tight and keep the camera clicking away!

Fourth Month Stats (as of 12.12.12):
Weight: 16 pounds 9 oz (78th percentile)
Height: 26 inches (82nd percentile)
New Skills:
-Playing in his ‘office’. It’s really quite fun for him as he talks to the characters and plays the music. I try to rotate the hanging toys to keep him interested.
-We have begun learning the alphabet. Each day is a new letter and we tell him new words that start with the letter. It will be a while before he says the letters, but he seems to enjoy our little ‘lessons’.
Big Events:
-First Thanksgiving and though no turkey was consumed he got to see lots of family.
-First sick visit to the doctor, gotta love cold season! No meds, just let it run its course.
-First Christmas tree sighting in our own living room! He likes looking at the lights, and luckily doesn’t reach for the ornaments yet! (Or try to unwrap gifts.)
“A Day in my Life”- Weekend Update
7:30am: It’s the weekend, and although most people sleep in I decide to get up since I can hear mom downstairs. I start moving around and making noise so she’ll come get me.
7:35am: Mommy! I laugh and talk to her as she gets me a fresh diaper. I’m a heavy wetter, and she is always telling me how heavy my diaper is.
7:40am: Before heading down for breakfast, mom stands me up on the changing table and let’s me see my ‘twin’. Funny thing is his mom looks just like mine- and they are so fun to see.
7:45am: I chug down my 5oz bottle of momma milk. Then mom tries to get me to burp before putting me in the ‘office’ for a little playtime.
8:00am: Mom heads into the kitchen to make some coffee and breakfast for her and dad. I continue to play music and talk to my toys.
8:30am: Today’s letter is ‘F’. Food, fun and fantastic. Every time mom says this I smile….she’s a funny lady.
9:00am: We all watch some tv, as a plan for the day is figured out. I usually don’t get a say- and go along for the ride.
9:30am: I get tired so dad holds me and I promptly fall asleep on his legs. Trust me I’m comfy!
10:30: Awake and hungry again! This time dad feeds me, while mom does stuff around the house. Then it’s more playtime for me. Are you seeing a trend? Eat, play, sleep, repeat- I’m so predictable.
Noon: Mom and I are tired so we lay down on her bed, and with a few pats of my bum I’m passed out. (Mom even fell asleep!)
1:00pm: Up from my nap, I get to chug another bottle. Instead of playing though, we head out the door to run some errands. I’m a good boy and just hang out happily. Mom gives be books to chew on, so I’m entertained.
3:00pm: Running errands is making me tired so I snooze for a bit.
4:30pm: We are home again, and it’s raining so daddy flips the cars seat cover over me while he gets me in the house so I stay dry.
5:00pm: With a fresh diaper in place, I get another bottle- mommy milk rules!
5:30pm: Mom heads out again for groceries so dad and I hang out. He lets me hang in my Bjorn on his chest while he makes pizza crust- smells so good! When we’re done I play for a bit.
7:00pm: Mom and dad eat dinner, and I decide about that time I’m ready to be snuggled. So dad multitasks….
8:00pm: My bedtime routine starts….tonight I get a shower. I love it! Dad even gives me a mini-massage afterwards.
8:30pm: My last bottle for the night. Dad helps me out, though I can do it myself if I need to.
9:00pm: Mom and I head upstairs and I get more momma milk. I like to sleep through the night so she makes sure I’m full.
9:45pm: Mom transfers me to my crib. Most nights I’m right back to sleep, but sometimes I look into camera so mom can get fun pictures of me.
10:00pm to 7:30am: I sleep through the night only stirring a little bit as I go through sleep cycles. I’m usually at the top of the crib by morning, and one day I even managed to hide from the camera!
See you next month!
